1)FRONT LOAD WASTE TRUCK FOR TIPPING OF BINS IN
THE SASKATOON AND AREA.
2)The Truck Driver is responsible for loading,
transporting and unloading material in a safe and
efficient manner.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1)Loading and unloading Truck and Trailer
combination with a Transporting cargo over highway
and off road routes.
2) Responsible to be familiar
with and able to drive off-road in conditions that
may include: rough roads, inclement weather, steep
inclines and/or declines and other potential
hazards.
3)Conduct a pre and post trip inspections of the
vehicle and complete relevant section of the
Driver's Daily log to record inspections.
4)Responsible for monitoring vehicle inspection
and equipment, and to advise supervisor when
scheduled service is required.
5)Receive assignment from Dispatch and continue to
check in on a regular basis.
6)Responsible to use load securing devices and
tire chains.
7)Be familiar with the provisions of all
legislation and regulations affecting the
operation of commercial vehicle and equipment.
8)The employee must regularly lift or move up to
10lbs., frequently lift and / or move 25 lbs., and
occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 + lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, colour
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT
while performing the duties of this job, the
employee regularly works in outside weather
conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Drives truck to deliver such items as aggregates
delivery and roll of bins
2.Collects or picks up roll off bins and load
aggregates
3.Issues or obtains customers signatures on the
receipt for delivery.
4.Accountability is a must!Ideal candidate will be
punctual, self motivated and hard working with a
good positive attitude.
5.MUST HAVE VALID CLASS 1A or 3A DRIVER'S LICENCE. AND FLUENT IN ENGLISH.
