Description

Urgently looking for 1 full-time permanent Restaurant Assistant Manager.
1 vacancy, $18.63 per hour, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
Daily tasks:

1.    Ensure all guests feel welcome and understand our passion for our food
2.    Ensure all food and service are prepared according to menu and serving standards
3.    Develop and execute operational action plans for the restaurant
4.    Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
5.    Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service.
6.    Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
7.    Strive for maximum efficiency and continual improvement of staff productivity
8.    Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
9.    Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
10.    Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
11.    Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews
12.    Prepare and communicate administrative reporting

Requirement
1.    Both Bachelor Degree of Business and Canadian College Diploma in the food area.
2.    3-4 years related management experience.
3.    Combination of practical management experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
4.    Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel).
5.    Must agree to background and credit check.
6.    Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing.
7.    Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
8.    Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
