Dumont Technical Institute invites applications for the following position:

Part-time (0.5) Academic (Communications and Support) Instructor
Heavy Equipment Truck & Transport Mechanic Training Program

Competition Code # 1602 100 MJ PT

Responsibilities:    To provide instruction in Communications, review of English and Math skills, as well as provide instructional support for adult students in a program designed to train students to become a Level 1 Apprentice as a Heavy Equipment Truck & Transport Mechanic.

Qualifications:    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Education or related discipline, experience working with adult learners, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Knowledge of adult education principles would be an asset.  Candidates should be knowledgeable in Mtis culture and have excellent interactive skills, including the ability to deliver interactive training to a diverse group.


Remuneration:    As GDI Pay Grid (Faculty II)

Term:        October 3, 2016  April 13, 2017
