Honey Bee Manufacturing Ltd requires an IT Support Technician at our manufacturing facility in southwest Saskatchewan (Frontier).
Primary responsibilities:
The Support Technician is the first point-of-contact for users of the Honey Bee Manufacturing information system. The objective of the position is to assist the Honey Bee staff in successfully applying the software and hardware products provided to accomplish their tasks and fulfill their responsibilities. The work is organized into service requests and as each request progresses toward resolution the work is documented in a service request management system. Continuous improvement activities are guided by direct feedback from the end users. New technical solutions are initiated by a focus on security, mobile accessibility, and cloud availability. Education and qualification:
Minimum of two years technical training at an accredited institution.
MCP certification. Industry recognized certification in networking (i.e. Network+, CCNA).
Knowledge of following Windows Server components:
o Active Directory
o DHCP
o DNS
Must be able to effectively troubleshoot common Microsoft Windows and Office problems.
Effective problem solver. Able to find solutions to technical problems through effective use of internal information resources.
SQL Server administration
WSUS administration
VMware vSphere
Microsoft Azure
