Description

Responsible for providing administrative and clerical services.

Responsibilities include:
Provide prompt and excellent customer service
Maintain office files, type correspondence, reports & other documents, mail, issue receipts, update and maintain Municipal website, maintain records for community cemetery, book community hall and ensure hall agreements are signed, prepare invoices for hall bookings, liaise with the Recreation Board, provide accounts payable and receivable back up, assist with tax billings and assessments such as sorting & preparing for mailing, prepare quarterly water billings, maintain records for the resolutions and bylaws.
Provide support to Administrator as required, contact employer for details.

Experience in office administration and bookkeeping procedures is an asset.  Knowledge of government council and committee systems is an asset.  A high level of confidentiality is required in this position.
