Job Description: As a member of the Quality Management Team, with the goal of improving quality and safety for patients, clients, and residents of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region (PAPHR), the Quality Improvement (QI) Consultant balances the facilitation of small and large scale project work that address regional needs related to patient safety, risk management and quality of services issues, while broadly impacting the culture of the organization through knowledge transfer, mentorship, education, facilitation, negotiation and leadership. The QI Consultant supports strategic plans and the vision and values of PAPHR through designing and developing quality improvement programs / initiatives in accordance with operations demands. Provides expertise on quality improvement methodology and integrates and coordinates quality improvement initiatives and activities throughout PAPHR.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical, administrative or quality improvement related areas. Experience related to quality and process improvement, risk management, patient safety, using data for improvement and learning, knowledge exchange and transfer, project management, systems thinking and change management.
18.75 hours in a 1 week rotation. Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.
