The City of Humboldt is seeking a full time permanent Finance Clerk.
Under the direction of the Finance Manager, the individual selected will conduct and supervise all accounting procedures of the City to ensure the supply of accurate and timely financial information.
The individual selected will maintain control and accountability for the General Ledger and Accounts Payable, assist in the preparation of year end and create a strong working relationship with City Auditors.
Applicants will have a certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance or Public Administration from a University, College or Technical School. Computer experience and knowledge of working with accounting software is preferrable. Knowledge of Great Plains Software, Excel, payroll and accounts recieveable will be considered an asset.
