The Co-op Refinery Complex is currently recruiting for an Electrical and Instrumentation Plant Engineering Supervisor. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide direct supervision to assigned Electrical/Instrumentation Plant Engineering staff. This involves engineering and project management for sustaining capital projects, upgrades to production capability, equipment reliability, or safety. Duties include, but are not limited to: general team leadership and guidance when changes occur in projects, policies, or procedures that impact the department, providing leadership and coaching in the areas of code compliance, process safety, material procurement, contracting strategies, project management, and construction management. Additional responsibilities include managing the scope and execution of complex engineering projects as assigned, monitoring project schedules and cash flow of projects at a high level, and managing construction of assigned projects to ensure they are completed in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner.
Qualifications include an Engineering degree from a recognized institution, plus a minimum 10 years experience in a related industry. A Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng) is also required.
