Reporting to the Mine Maintenance General Foreman, the Mine Maintenance Supervisor looks after mine maintenance crews involved in the setup and repair of mining equipment. Work performed may involve disassembly, rebuilding, adjustment, welding, replacement, reassembly and other maintenance and planning functions as required.
Successful candidate must hold a Journeyman status with 5+ years experience in mechanical maintenance. Experience in underground potash operations with demonstrated strong commitment to safety, project organization, initiative, and leadership ability. Strong knowledge of OH&S, mine regulations and environmental regulations would be considered an asset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary along with command of basic computer skills and ability to learn company software.
