Job Description: The Workflow Coordinator directly supports the Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO). They serve as key team members of the KPO dedicated to supporting the development of a rapidly growing application of Lean Production or Kaizen activity across Mamawetan Churchill River Health Region. The incumbent directly provides for the effective and timely flow of information (and other work) between the KPO and the organization at large, according to defined standards. The position is accountable for supporting the development and maintenance of Kaizen events, certification and training schedules as well as visual communication tools and other infrastructure necessary to support the growing information sharing and progress tracking needs of a Lean organization. The role directly supports the coordination and rigorous documentation of Kaizen, education and training activities to support achievement of organizational goals and implementation of the Saskatchewan Healthcare Management System (modeled after the Global Production System). The position involves regular project work requiring a high degree of independence, creativity, technological applications and personal initiative.
The incumbent is responsible to maintain these functions in accordance with established region policies, department standards, procedures, best practices and standard work.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent of combined education and experience. Incumbents are required to participate in Lean Improvement Leader Training.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and Project Management Software an asset. Success requires excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as an extremely high level of organizational skill with attention to detail. The incumbent must demonstrate basic facilitation and
