Battlefords Immigration Resource Center Inc. is seeking an Information Advisor within our office.

Job Purpose
As the Information Advisor, you are directly responsible for being the "First Point of Contact" at the center whenever someone calls or enters our office.  You will be responsible for keeping accurate, legible and up to date records of all transactions and interactions with our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Process the mail and book appointments
Provide accurate and timely information to newcomers
Generate accurate documents for reporting
Responsible for the maintenance of all resources
Responsible for newsletters and other publications
Maintain computers for public use
Responsible for referrals to other local agencies
Assist other staff as required
Assist with the development and execution of events

Qualifications
Must have Grade 12.  Some Post Secondary education is preferred
Must be proficient in the English language - both oral and written (a second language is an asset)
Must be self-motivated and have leadership qualities
Must be a team player and enjoy working with people
Must have excellent computer knowledge with a variety of programs (Word, Illustrator, Excel etc)
Must have a valid drivers license and valid Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
