Description

We are currently looking for energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working individuals with great organizational skills to join our team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-The Host is responsible for ensuring that all guests are attended to and served in accordance with the high standards as outlined by Mr. Mikes.
-While being highly visible at the entrance way and throughout the dining room, the Host will remain friendly and courteous.
-The smooth, even flow of the dining room will be a top priority for the Host. He/she will ensure that all reservation, take-out/delivery, telephone and wait list procedures are followed.
-The Host is responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the dining room with special attention being paid to the entrance way.
-The Host will perform other such tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Maitre d'hotel Specific Skills
 - Receive customers' payments
 - Inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas
 - Greet and seat customers
 - Employ English service
 - Assist food and beverage servers when required
 - Answer customers' questions regarding menu items and preparation methods
Work Setting
 - Restaurant
 - Lounge
Administrative and Supervisory Experience
 - Perform opening and closing activities
Host/Hostess Specific Skills
 - Set tables and assist with removal of tableware
 - Receive payments from customers
 - Provide general information on community services
 - Greet and seat customers
 - Attend to customers with special needs
 - Attend to seating arrangements for large groups
 - Assist food and beverage servers when required
 - Answer customers' questions regarding menu items and preparation methods
