Description

The IT Business Analyst will be responsible to support Advance in achieving its goals and objectives through the use of technology. This position will provide a first level of ERP support for users across the organization; facilitate the use of information technology within the organization, and work closely with end users and management to identify business needs.

The implementation of a new ERP system has necessitated the creation of this position and offers the right individual an excellent opportunity to learn new technology in a challenging and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide support to end users in the use of business applications: ERP, and SharePoint and work with both business and technical support as required.
Identify opportunities to create efficiencies through the use of technology by consulting with business management and end users.
Identify opportunities to support business goals and objectives through the use of technology.
Research and create business cases to support investments in information technology.
Create and lead training for end users in the use of information technology.
Administrate the authorization of users into the business systems.
Assist in the implementation of major projects as a member of the IT team.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Commerce, Business or Computer Science
Business Analyst/Project Management certification or related experience  
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
Experience with ERP systems with a preference for Epicor ERP
Experience with Crystal or SSRS for report creation.
Strong business acumen with a preference shown for experience in a manufacturing organization
A results-driven, business oriented mindset
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to superior service delivery
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
French is an asset.
