Delivery Driver/Swamper Wanted!
Ashley Furniture is currently looking for a Delivery Driver/Swamper for our Distribution Centre in Saskatoon, SK located at 1502 Quebec Ave.
As a Delivery Driver/Swamper you will assist with all aspects of loading and unloading product with safe and courteous delivery into the customers homes.

Your main responsibilities are to:
Safely and efficiently performs loading and unloading activities related to the Companys delivery service
Deliver product to customers home following Companys policies and procedures
Assemble product in customers home when required
Completion of delivery paperwork/inventory control
Conduct all activities in a safe, courteous manner with every effort put forward to minimize damage to product and to the customers home
Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules
Successful candidates will have the following:
High school diploma preferred
Experience with hand tools an asset
Ability to speak with customers and co-workers at a conversational level
Must be able to read item numbers and product descriptions on delivery paperwork
Perform simple written paperwork recording
Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays
Available to work overtime as required
Able to work in extreme temperatures
Able to lift and move heavy objects greater than 100 lbs.
Criminal Record Check required
This position has a wage increase of $0.50 after 3 months, 6 months & 1 year.
