As the educational leader in the classroom, the Instructor in the Office Education Certificate program, will be responsible for delivering SIIT programs & curricula with the purpose of promoting student success. This position is to organize & implement instructional activities which create a learning environment that guides & provides the greatest opportunity for student success. These include the following broad range of accountabilities:
oDeliver courses relating to: Office Education
oComplete all course-required materials including attendance records & course evaluations
oUse appropriate methods of evaluating & recording student progress within set time frames
oEnsure a positive, diverse, inclusive work & learning environment
oAdhere to; promote academic regulations & SIIT policies/procedures
oMaintain classroom,shop discipline & if necessary, recommend action to applicable supervisor regarding student behavior, including formal student disciplinary action
oMake recommendations to modify course objectives, course outlines, curriculum & evaluation procedures

Required Qualifications and Experience: A business related degree or diploma from an accredited institution. Prior teaching experience would be preferred. Knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations would be an asset.
