Active Electric is an electrical contractor that has been servicing the needs of commercial, industrial and residential clients in Regina and surrounding area for the past 5 years.
We require a Journeyman Electrician specializing in service work and commercial projects.
The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include:
- Onsite work for commercial, industrial and residential job sites
- Panel wiring, construction and installation
- Troubleshooting
- Ordering and receiving of materials
- Dealing with a wide range of people in all levels of the building/sub-contracting industry
- Supervising apprentices
- Day trips out of town
The successful candidate must have the right to work in this country, possess a current drivers licence and be qualified to drive a company vehicle. They need to possess:
- Experience across a broad range of systems including:
- Fire alarm
- Intercom/Camera/Security
- Data/Communications Cat5, Cat6, punch down, networking, etc.
- Ability to perform electrical maintenance of commercial and industrial facilities
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Commitment and self-motivation, with very good organizational skills
- Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations
