O&T Farms produces Omega-3 rich animal feeds using a unique, patented dry extrusion process.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and Production Supervisors, this position is responsible for operating extruders and mix machinery as noted below from both our processing plant (Hwy. #11) and feed mill (Hwy. #6) located north just outside of Regina, SK.
Responsibilities:
-Mix product according to formula
-Processing grain in accordance with SOP's and HACCP requirements
-Monitor and operate extruders, processing equipment and temperatures
-Notifying supervisor of required repairs to equipment
-Reporting quality problems to Management
-Record Keeping
-Cleanliness and maintenance of mill and plant building, yard, vehicles and equipment
-Load and unload trucks including grain trailers
-Work in a safe manner at all times and complete jobs following safety procedures
-Ability to work in all weather conditions (some outside work)
-Shift work is required (with pay differential). Weekend and overtime may be required during busy season
-Dusty - must not be allergic to grain dust
-Own reliable vehicle for travel just outside of Regina

-Must be physically fit to be able to lift 25-50 lbs. repeatedly throughout day
