We currently have an opportunity for a Research and Policy Analyst.
The primary function of this position is to ensure that organizational decisions, position statements, policies, and program planning are based upon thorough research and analysis. This is a one-year term assignment to begin approximately September 1, 2016.
Primary responsibilities include providing necessary research, analysis, reporting and technical expertise for all of the Federations functions; engaging in various events, activities and meetings with teacher committees to ensure research, analysis and reports reflect the voice of teachers; and developing policy and processes in consultation with senior administrative staff. The successful candidate will have a graduate degree with a major focus on social, economic, and governance issues in education, combined with considerable experience related to the core functions of this position. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
