The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Training & Employment Department is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 academic year to fill the following term position based out of
Senator Myles Venne School (SMVS) in La Ronge.
Cree Language/Culture Teacher
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate;
- Must be fluent in Woodland Cree;
- Strong background in the culture and traditions of the Woodland Cree;
- Experience with outdoor Education and Cultural Activities following the 6 seasons;
- Good classroom management skills;
- Ability to teach students of varying abilities;
- Cross - Cultural experience is an asset.
