Key activities of this role include:

-Vehicle Design Process (Electrical)
-Research & Development and Sales Support
-Continuous Improvement
-Project Management
-Team Supervision

The successful candidates will have:

-Engineering Degree from an accredited university.  A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, though other Engineering degrees with appropriate experience will be considered.
-Eight to 10 years of experience in electrical design or technical solution sourcing including analog and digital electrical design, embedded software programming and electrical and electronic systems integration.
-Practical experience in cable and harness fabrication, component installation and testing.
-Professional Engineering Designation or eligibility to register with APEGS.
-Exposure to the concepts of design for manufacturing, design for assembly and design for maintenance would be a valuable asset.
-A power user of E3 WireWorks, or other electrical design software.
-Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor or other 3D CAD software is an asset.
-Knowledge of vehicle CAN Bus/Vehicle systems is an asset.
