Description

Fries Tallman Lumber, with stores located in Regina and Fort QuAppelle, is looking to expand to a community in southern Saskatchewan.  

The company is seeking a professional, highly motivated and service orientated Branch Manager to assume responsibilities for daily operations.  

Reporting to the General Manager, the Branch Manager responsibilities will include: customer service, providing timely customer project quotations, maintaining budgets, monitoring sales and margins, scheduling, supervising employees, forklift operations, loading orders, overseeing delivery of products along with responsibility for overseeing ordering, receiving, managing inventory and merchandising.
Preferred Job Requirements and Competencies
High school completion plus the completion of business courses would be an asset
3+ years of experience in a direct sales role in a lumber environment
Strong business acumen
Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with a proven track record in building rapport and maintaining relationships with clients, management, and staff
Work cooperatively and effectively with others
Good analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
Ability to grow existing accounts and develop new business to achieve sales targets
Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and motivate a staff
Ability to prioritize and effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to meet deadlines
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Point-of-Sales software
A valid driver's license
