Westwood Electric is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator based at our Prince Albert, SK office.
Role Summary:
Practice and promote Westwood's Vision, Mission & Values at all times.
Support the Project Management Team & facilitate project meetings
Assist on project development plans, design standards & product reviews and identify & minimize exposure & risk on projects
Create and execute project work plan(s) & schedules, revising as required.
Develop Field Installation Packages (FIWP)
Review deliverables (progress schedule, QC Tracking, project costs etc.) and submit accordingly
Develop Inspection Test Plan (ITP) & sheets to ensure quality assurance procedures are delivered
Ensure project documents; including but not limited to QA/QC Binders are complete, current and stored appropriately
Support business development, estimating, project tracking and purchasing as needed
The Project Coordinator will possess the following attributes, qualifications and experience:
Must be a Journeyman Electrician and/or Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering
Preference given to MBA and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
Preference given to individuals with industrial electrical experience
Extensive field and Supervisory experience is an advantage.
Organized, results orientated with excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Project, Primavera
Self-motivated with the ability to handle sensitive data in an appropriate manner.
Experience & knowledge in construction, estimating and purchasing considered an asset.
