Our Client, a leader in the Sewing equipment industry, has an immediate opening for a full time Assistant Store Manager for their retail store. They provide a fun work environment, competitive salary, comprehensive training and learning opportunities.
The Role:
Oversee store operations
Administrative functions including: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, invoice reconciliation
Inventory Management / Purchasing
Social Media Management; including Facebook, Pinterest and the company website
Provide friendly service to customers in person and on the phone
Open and close store including cash out procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
Must have a strong understanding of sewing
3+ years of experience in a retail sales
Superior customer service skills
Understanding of retail management functions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Experience in bookkeeping
Computer Savvy
Experience managing social media for business
