Description

Bourgault Industries is looking for an IT Programmer to provide .NET/ASP/Microsoft Access programming solutions and support for a variety of departments and internal customers. This position is located at our main office in St. Brieux.

Responsibilities:
- Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing Microsoft Access(2010), written in VBA
- Code test and troubleshoot programs utilizing Microsoft Visual development studio(2013), written in Visual Basic .NET
- Maintain program integrity to ensure confidentiality of the information being processed, stored or accessed
- Interact in a professional manner with IT team members, internal and external customers to arrive at desired solutions
- Utilize collaborative thinking to maximize user friendliness and utility of databases created

Qualifications:
- Technical certificate or degree in programming is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Windows-based programming languages and procedures
- SQL and DB2 database experience
- Knowledge of Visual Basic, both for .NET and for VBA in Access would be an asset.
- Experience with Crystal reports is an asset
- Technical Writing experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
