Description

Responsible for operating an industrial 4-head Tajima embroidery machine and single head Tajima embroidery machines, perform all responsibilities that coincide with embroidering a garment: embroider name, initials, logos or decorative designs on garments, materials, and uniforms. Must have experience.

Responsibilities:
Place hoops on Garments
Determine what logo is supposed to be embroidered on garment by viewing the order
Find correct logo on thumb drive
Input logo into embroidery machine using thumb drive
Trace logo design on garment
Verify that alignment of hoop is correctly placed on garment
Assign correct thread colors at the machine level
Pay close attention to machine to ensure that it is functioning properly
Look at finished embroidered garment (while still hooped) to verify quality
Communicate with team members
Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years embroidery machine operating experience required. Tajima, SWF , Baurden preferred.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to focus and remain attentive
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Possess knowledge of fabrics and their characteristics is preferred, but not required
Capable of lifting up to 15 - 20lbs without assistance

Must be available evenings and weekends.
