Description

Kirzinger Construction Ltd. has been a sustainable employer in the rural Humboldt area for ten years, specializing in residential and light commercial new construction and renovations. The company is seeking a Journeyman/woman Carpenter.

The successful applicant's responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Supervise a crew of 3-5 carpenters/general labourers.

- Communicate with company management.

- Perform physical labour related to a variety of projects such as: the new construction of homes, garages, and other residential and/or commercial buildings, the renovation of/addition to homes, cottages, and other residential and/or commercial buildings.

- Interpret drawings and building plans, and communicating them to crew members.

- Operate company equipment, such as: telehandler, aerial platforms, trucks and trailers (35).

- Work accurately and economically, and follow national and local building codes.

- Ensure high quality results and customer satisfaction on all projects.

Minimum Requirements:

- Journeyman Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- 3 years of experience as a Journeyperson Carpenter

Preferred Qualifications:

- Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Aerial Work Platform (AWP) Certification
