Assistant Flour Miller
NutraSun Foods is Canadas premier flour mill specializing in custom milling of high quality organic and conventional Canadian Hard Red Spring Wheat and Hard White Wheat for its customers across North America and the world. NutraSun Foods provides specialty flour products for use in various food markets including flours, bakery mixes, dough conditioners and whole grain products. The NutraSun Foods flour mill is located in the heart of Regina, Saskatchewan which allows the company to source its grain directly from one of the most productive grain growing regions in the world.
We have an immediate opening for a permanent, full time Assistant Flour Miller.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Monitoring the milling process through both computerized monitoring systems and routine visual inspections;
Troubleshooting/Correcting minor milling system malfunctions;
Monitoring the quality and consistency of processed flour in accordance with company specifications;
Assisting in the process of packaging and shipping milled grain products;
Accurate maintenance of milling records identifying and reporting non-routine milling malfunctions to the supervising Miller; and,
Learning the other skills and duties within the flour mill that ensure customers receive quality products on time.
Must be able to work shiftwork
