Directly delivering basic curling instruction to children aged 4-13 in the a school setting
Ensuring timely arrival at school
Setting up and cleaning up gymnasium
Skills/Qualifications Required:
Energetic and enthusiastic
Strong verbal communication
Ability to organize, control, and generate enthusiasm in a classroom of 20-30 students
Ability to work independently
Good organization and time management skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience teaching, or coaching elementary aged children in a sport, camp, daycare, or school setting is an asset
Knowledge of the sport of Curling is an asset, but not a requirement
Special Requirements:
Access to a vehicle is a requirement for this position (on the days that you will be working)
Willingness to travel to schools outsidJe of home region is required (compensated for travel)
Successful Completion of a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) is required prior to beginning work in schools
