Job Summary: the Production Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of work to ensure the successful completion of production schedules and shipments in pursuance of business goals. The Production Coordinator will work closely with Manager of Production Planning to ensure client orders are met within the given timeframe. Through the effective management of targets, goals and production efficiencies, the Production Coordination will ensure the ongoing success of the production team.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist in the coordination of travelers and drawings
-Maintain a safe, clean and legally compliant workplace.
-Identify, investigate, correct and document potential production problems.
-Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities, with purchasing, production and shipping departments.
-Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
-Provide information for production plans to ensure that production objectives are met.
-Ensure product quality.  
-Coordinate with other supervisors, leads, and managers to obtain maximum use of resources.
-Plan for manpower and equipment needs.
-Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
-Manage material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
-Provide leadership for problem and conflict resolution.  
-Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
-Participate in ISO
