Description

The Qu'Appelle Valley Friendship Centre Inc. is seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic peer youth outreach workers for seven month, full-time term positions (Sept 1 to March 31) to collect information on youth (16 to 24) who reside in or around the community and then refer them to appropriate community stakeholders in an effort to funnel them into education, training or pre-employment programming or employment (if they are not already employed or in school).  

The candidates must be positive role models that possess university degrees and have valid class 5 licences and reliable vehicles.  

Applicants must:

*  Possess a bachelor's degree  
*  Relate well with youth and the public
*  Possess the ability to supervise small groups of people.
*  Have outgoing, friendly personalities
*  Be very reliable and punctual
*  Possess organization skills
*  Possess the ability to maintain a filing system.
*  Have no alcohol or substance abuse issues
*  Be able to clear a criminal record and vulnerable sectors check
*  Possess a valid class 5 licence and reliable vehicle
