Position Overview:
The role of Team Leader is to manage project operations on a daily basis. This includes communicating and coordinating daily project goals with team members. The Team Leader will ensure delivery on project goals while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities
-Assists Project Manager in planning, executing, monitoring and reviewing project
-Communicates daily project objectives and goals to Team Members
-Prepare, organize, and track all equipment, supplies, paperwork and vehicles required for each project, in a timely manner
-Ensure safe working environment by conducting daily safety inspection of tools, equipment and possible job site hazards..
-Facilitates safety of Team Members and ensure equipment and tools on project site are secure
-Confirm all project paperwork is completed on a daily basis.
-Assist the Project Manager in evaluation of Team Members
Position Requirements:
-Minimum of Grade 12 or advanced Diploma
-Certification in Water Restoration, Fire Restoration, Applied Microbial Remediation, First Aid, Customer Service and Construction is mandatory.
-Valid Drivers License
Knowledge & Experience:
-2 - 5 years direct work experience in a leadership role
-Demonstrates on-the-job experience in mold, asbestos and water remediation
-Experience & skills in inspection of potential presence of mold and asbestos is an asset
Personal Attributes:
-Experience working both independently and in a team is essential.
-Ability to supervise team members and manage cost efficient project is a must
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
