Reporting to the Director, Cyber Security, the Cyber Security Analyst, as part of the Cyber Security team, will protect PotashCorps valuable and confidential information assets from unauthorized access. The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for providing Cyber security safeguards guidance and implementation skills including assessing and communicating all Cyber security risks associated with all practices performed by the Corporation. The Cyber Security Analyst will collaborate with Cyber Security team members to abstract appropriate requirements to enable the business in a secure manner and assist in the evaluation, architecture, design, planning, implementation and support of Cyber security solutions.
The successful candidate will also provide resolution proposals to Cyber security problems, produce technical reports and develop presentations on Cyber security activities. The Cyber Security analyst will be required to maintain up-to-date detailed knowledge of the Cyber security industry and remain informed on trends and issues including emerging technology and regulatory and compliance issues.
The successful candidate will be a graduate of a recognized university or technical school with a degree or diploma in computer science, or related field (i.e. Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) The successful candidate will also maintains one or more Cyber security certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or comparable). A minimum of 2 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in Cyber security is also required.
