Responsibilities:
An Installation and Servicing Technician to
perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection functions on our products.
The successful candidate will be expected to effectively perform technical requirements while delivering exceptional customer service.
Complete worksite safety assessments and take
appropriate actions to minimize risk of injury.
Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and
inspect our products and equipment at customer
sites throughout the province. Ability to travel is required.
Interpret diagrams and technical manuals as
necessary.
Maintain proficiency in the use of personal
computers and software applications including our internal proprietary programs.
Ensure assigned vehicle is maintained in
accordance with required schedule.
Ensure vehicle inventory is replenished and
maintained in accordance with Company standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum - High school diploma
Experience installing, inspecting
and/ or servicing electronic security systems is preferred but not required.
Possess valid driver's license and maintain
acceptable driving record
Clean criminal record check.
Bonus Criteria
Excellent Customer Service and Communication
skills
DSC, Honeywell, Axis or Kantech proficiency an
asset
Mechanical aptitude and ability to effectively
use test equipment, hand and power tools
Physical ability to stand, squat, kneel, bend,
crawl, climb, sit, climb a ladder and lift up to 40 lbs (occasionally overhead)
