The Tisdale Recorder and Parkland Review are two best in class newspapers that are looking for your sales leadership!
You will be based in Tisdale, a family community that offers all the amnenities for you and your family to help make it home!
From there, you would be responsible for supporting the growth of the two papers revenue through local
ad sales and innovative specials. Youd work on new product initiatives that involve the papers and new
websites. Youd come up with novel sales approaches. Your success would be measured by new revenue
you bring.
The successful candidate will:
Support the targets for the newspapers goals and new initiatives.
Analyze market conditions and recommended response tactics.
Provide accurate and timely reporting with respect to all sales activity.
Manage other sales representatives.
Co-ordinate with the accounting, production and editorial departments.
Making four-legged sales calls with existing representatives.
Collaborate with external sales representatives to seize joint revenue opportunities
Travel to nearby towns within a 100-kilometre radius of Tisdale.
Qualifications:
3+ years of advertising sales management experience.
Ability to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts and large contracts.
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
A self-starting individuals thats driven by results.
Experience helping define sales product strategy, pricing methodology and building innovative
sales leadership programs.
Being an exceptional relationship builder with an unwavering positive attitude and ability to train,
motivate and drive sales teams.
Experience with sales management software.
