Co-op Refinery Complex
This position is responsible for the development of detailed work plans containing all pertinent drawings, specifications, and applicable procedures, and development and maintenance of daily and weekly maintenance schedules in accordance with priorities, operational requirements, and equipment availability. Job site visits are an integral component to work plan development.
Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years working in an industrial complex, experience in an industrial planning/scheduling capacity or in an applicable industrial trade, a high school diploma, and a technical diploma and/or trade certification.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the development of a detailed work plan for each maintenance activity. This will include a site visit to scope the work, development of a work plan outlining each trades responsibilities, identification of safety hazards, preparation of a detailed material list, identification of applicable procedures to each specific job and an estimation of labour hours required. Duties will also include, updating work order status in CMMS, monitoring metrics established to identify the efficient operation of planning and scheduling activities and develop actions to address issues. This position is also responsible for providing assistance with the development of work plans during the annual maintenance Turnaround.
