If this sounds like a fit for you, we'd like you to join our management team as the permanent full-time Director Operational Audit in Regina. SGI and SGI CANADA are growing with an aim to be a major P&C insurance provider in Canada and we need to ensure procedural control is maintained as we grow.  Under the guidance of the Chief Internal Auditor, this role is responsible for managing the objective evaluations of the adequacy of internal controls over operations, information technology and financial processes or systems, and delivering on requirements for external audit and financial controls.  We need an enthusiastic and driven leader who can support their team while enhancing the focus and value of the internal audit function, as well as make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management, control, and business processes.  

To successfully perform the role, you will bring the knowledge & skills you have obtained from your bachelor's degree in business administration/commerce or computer science, as well as a Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation or IT Auditing designation (such as CISA, CISSP).  A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation would be considered an asset.  You will also bring the expertise you have obtained from a minimum of eight years progressive experience in auditing, with at least three years in a managerial role.  An alternative combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
