Provide wide variety of secretarial & administrative tasks in demanding law office; previous knowledge & experience of office administrative procedures a requirement.

Seeking skilled, responsible & confident individual to provide a wide variety of complex secretarial & administrative duties in fast-paced work environment. Be intuitive & concise with details, creative in problem solving, dependable & will treat colleagues & clients with respect. Must excel in office responsibilities, be able to take on a leadership role if needed & exhibit professionalism.

As an employee, responsibilities will include assisting lawyers with management of files, as well as providing support for daily office tasks, such as:
Dictation of letters & completing & filing court documents
Receiving client payments, billing time to files, scheduling client appointments
Processing incoming / outgoing mail
Picking up / dropping of disclosure / mail
Bank deposits
Paying bills & purchasing of office supplies.

McAuley Law Firm is seeking an individual who must have a working knowledge of PCLaw as well as real estate & who is organized and thorough. We require a candidate who has strong communication & interpersonal skills when responding to inquiries from the public, Crown & Legal Aid when dealing with highly sensitive materials & information ensuring strict confidentiality at all times.

Require 1 or 2 yr legal secretarial program or has experience in a related legal field or a combination of both.  Also looking for person with knowledge pertaining to office management procedures which includes filing systems and some knowledge of legal terminology.

You must participate as a willing and able team member within the office environment. McAuley Law Firm has friendly & informal atmosphere & we seek a team player.
