GRAPHIC DESIGNER (FREELANCE - May lead to full-time.)

New glossy, upscale, lifestyle magazine to Regina is looking staff & freelance designers at the junior to intermediate level.  

SPECIFIC DUTIES
    Passionate about magazine design.
    Desire to improve our current design.
    Understand the importance of minimalist design.
    Understand the difference between effective advertising and design.
    Must have expert competency in Adobe Creative Suite.
    Able to build a magazine from stem to stern.
    Create traditional print ads, advertorials, editorials and marketing materials.
    Correct photographs in Photoshop.
    Select photography and graphics, and manage final print production.
    Press check file requirements for a variety of print and digital collateral.
    Self-motivated.
    Skills in photography, illustration and digital development an asset.

EDUCATION
    Formal training in graphic design

EXPERIENCE
2 years (+) preferred
