The Saskatchewan Transportation Company, STC, is seeking an individual to join our Executive Team and lead our human resources division.

Reporting to the President & CEO, you will be responsible for the effective leadership, direction and management of all human resources functions, including: labour relations, collective bargaining, recruitment and retention, employee development, payroll and benefits administration, and occupational health and safety. In addition, this role is responsible to oversee all transport regulatory requirements of the company.

Our ideal candidate of choice will be a proactive leader, client focused, self-motivated and have a successful track record of delivering results and building strong relationships. The incumbent must have strong knowledge of human resource practices in all areas, with the proven ability to apply knowledge to meet the needs and challenges of a complex organization.

Typically the competencies required for this position would be obtained through a degree in commerce or administration with a human resources focus coupled with a minimum of seven years progressively responsible work experience in all fields listed above. A CHRP designation is an asset.
