Employment Opportunity
The Early Learning Centre in Ponteix, SK is hiring Early Childhood Educators for casual and full-time positions to start Sept 1st. Must be 16 years or older. Serious inquiries only.

Duties consist of:
Caring for children in all respects (physical, mental, emotional)
Assist children with necessary basic care; be comfortable to help infants and all ages with their needs: snacks, diaper changes, potty training, personal cleanliness
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and pleasant environment for children and staff; following daily and weekly cleaning schedules
Assist in preparation and implementations of daily activities that support the development of children; telling or reading stories, teaching songs, preparing craft materials and demonstrating crafts, give children the opportunity to express their creativity through art, role play, music and physical activity, etc.
Shared kitchen duties including snack and lunch preparation and serving, cleaning

The successful applicant will:
Possess an Early Childhood Education certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education of Saskatchewan, or be willing to obtain working online
Be comfortable with the application of a program of activities for children from 6 weeks to 11 years.
Demonstrate skills to create sustainable positive relationships with parents, children and staff.
Provide a favorable criminal record check.
Be certified in First Aid & CPR
Have Food Safety Course or be willing to obtain

Wage is dependent on level of education and previous experience.
