Job Summary:
Under the direction of Fitness Coordinator, the Physical Exercise Specialist coordinates and delivers 15 Wing Moose Jaw nationally standardized physical fitness programs for populations with medical conditions, functional limitations (emotional or physical) or disabilities. He/She develops implements and delivers practical and theoretical physical fitness and wellness seminars, workshops and lessons, and coordinates and delivers physical fitness education modules in support of the Train-The-Trainer model for military personnel. The Physical Exercise Specialist assists 15Wing Moose Jaw Health Promotion staff to promote healthy practices and injury prevention through initiative such
as educational programs, special events and other activities related to physical fitness. She/He also provides recommendations and advises on health and physical fitness policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
** Bachelor?s degree in Physical Education, Human Kinetics, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences or in a related field AND some years of experience in physical fitness evaluation and prescription or a related field
AND
** Current Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification
** Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
** Current National Lifeguard Service Certificate (NLS) qualification
