Saskatchewan Express is a not for profit organization, consisting of the well-known and respected Saskatchewan Express touring company plus two musical theatre studios located in Regina and Saskatoon. The organization is seeking a creative, passionate, dedicated individual to take on the role of C.E.O./Artistic Director.
The successful candidate will report to the Board of Directors and will be supported and mentored during a transition period by the current Artistic Director/General Manager. Responsibilities of the position include:
Creating, producing and directing shows,
Auditioning and casting young performers from across the province,
Developing programs that are inclusive and dedicated to diversity,
Planning tours including summer, winter and school tours,
Contracting professional artists to work with the touring cast,
Contracting sound and lighting technicians,
Setting the artistic direction of the organization,
Managing and developing the staff,
Ensuring that the Studio Directors and instructors are qualified and
teaching a curriculum that enhances and supports the artistic goals,
Ensuring policies and procedures are in place to provide a safe environment for
the cast members and students with a zero tolerance for bullying,
Actively participating in fundraising,
Collaborating with other cultural organizations to build a strong cultural
community in this province.

The successful candidate will be an innovator, a believer in the potential of Saskatchewan Express and will lead the organization into an exciting future.
