The YWCA Regina is a non-profit organization that exists to support and empower women, children and youth in addressing their diverse needs in the realization of their full potential.
Three (3) full-time and/or part-time, permanent positions are available for Early Childhood Educators at the YWCA Lumsden Childcare Centre. Start date for these positions is September.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the well being of the children as well as the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming.
Responsibilities:
- Providing a safe environment for all children
- Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles
- Be a team player
- Have a positive attitude
- Punctual and dependable
Qualifications: Education and experience essential.
- A minimum of Early Childhood Education Level I is required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Tuberculosis test
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- First Aid/CPR Level C certification is an asset.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
Transportation/Travel Information
- Own transportation
- Valid driver's licence
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree
Work Setting
- Day-care centre
Security and Safety
- Criminal record check (abstract)
- Tuberculosis test
