Experience
Previous: Six (6) months post-ticket experience working as a Journeyperson Cook in order to consolidate knowledge and skills.

    As per Article 11.03 c), applicants without the requisite or equivalent qualifications for this classification shall be considered for this position only when there are no fully qualified applicants, if they have the following qualification:

  Two (2) years of institutional/large scale cooking experience

If the successful applicant does not possess the full qualifications outlined on the JJE Job Description for the classification, they will be hired conditionally with the agreement and understanding they will complete the required (or equivalent) educational requirements as noted in LOU#22 b) v) within four (4) years of their hire date.
