We are seeking an individual to fill in on a part time basis who will:
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage menus items and their presentation;
as well as, sides and choices associated with each item.
Be responsible for greeting guests and ensuring their meal is a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Clear and reset tables.
Replace soiled table linen or wash and sanitize table tops.
Wipe tables and chairs.
Carry dirty dishes to dishwashing area.
Check tables for proper setting and supplies.
Take room service orders, set up the trays and deliver the orders. If necessary, remove / return
dishes / room service trays from hallways.
Continually use suggestive selling practices as defined in Hotel Restaurant Minimum Standards.
When necessary, handle financial transactions within the restaurant during his or her shift and
thank all customers for their patronage.

Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
- Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
- Describe and advise on wine selection
