AG FACILITY SALES AND ADMIN, FARM SUPPLY
(Full-Time Temporary)
In collaboration with the Farm Supply Operations Manager, you will:
Meet and greet customers and provide high standards of service
Operate computer and balance receipts on a daily basis
Complete daily cash-up following Discovery Co-op procedures
Monitor accounts receivable through the use of current and aged print-outs
Maintain office files
Under direction of Operations Manager, maintain a file of accounts payable and prepare same for payment
Type letters, memos and reports from handwritten or oral instructions
Open and distribute incoming mail and packages and direct outgoing mail on a daily basis
Perform necessary housekeeping duties
Compile and provide information regarding inventory levels, product sales, prices, shipments, and accounts outstanding as requested by Operations Manager
Prepare weekly stock reports
Maintain and order office supplies
Update perpetual inventories within assigned timelines
Maintain documentation to ensure compliance is current with AWSA
QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Knowledge of Agro Industry and products an asset
Basic knowledge of computers
Willingness to accept increased responsibility
