Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)
Responsible for omelette station during breakfast
Control of production of food items in the kitchen; quality, requisitions, storage, usage, and rotation
Substitute for 1st Cook in absence
Control costs of sections, ensuring correct foods are used for correct job
Ensure timely, quality service of menu items according to service standards and guest expectations
Ensure food displays are kept in prime condition and in accordance with standards and procedures
Education, Experience, & Skills: (Abbreviated)
Cultina
Minimum 3-5 years culinary experience
Hospitality/Hotel experience an asset
Food Safe Certification
Demonstrated practice in the following Core Competencies:
o Service Orientation, Affiliative Communication, Achievement Oriented, Adaptability, Accountability, Positional Expertise, Initiative
Work Conditions:
High level of sensory attention; sight and hearing
High level of mental effort and attention to detail
Physical demands include, but are not limited to walking, standing, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently
Hotel/kitchen environment
Will be constantly exposed to high temperatures in the kitchen environment
Exposure to extremely hot and cold liquids
Interacts/communicates with guests and fellow associates
