Police Records Management Controller
Casual position

The Prince Albert Police Service is inviting applications from qualified persons for the casual position of Police Records Management Controller.  This position provides management and control of our Records Management System.   The position accurately processes court packages and enters data to the Canadian Police Information System (CPIC).  

You will be expected to work shift work: 10 hour rotating shifts that would include days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays depending on your shift schedule.  

Qualifications and skills the successful candidate will bring to the position include:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- An office related program or equivalent (asset would include legal terminology).
- Keyboard skills
- Good working knowledge of computer systems.
- Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and organize workload in a multi-task environment.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with Police staff, Crown Prosecutor, Provincial Court, and the public.
- Previous police or justice experience would be an asset.
- As part of the hiring process candidates are required to go through a security screening process
