The Director, Continuing Education is accountable to the Associate Vice-President, Learning & Teaching for the effective leadership, implementation and management of Saskatchewan Polytechnic's continuing education (CE) initiatives. This includes implementing policies, guidelines, processes and practices that govern all aspects of Saskatchewan Polytechnic continuing education efforts.
  
The director provides direction, support and guidance to continuing education consultants (CECs) and will improve continuing education effectiveness through increased CE revenues, the effective use of CE resources, the leadership and support of new CE product development and the implementation CE growth plans.  The director will work in partnership with CECs and program heads to ensure consistency of practice and application in program and course brokerage, delivery, quality assurance, contract negotiation and reconciliation.

The successful applicant for this position will have a relevant graduate degree (i.e., business or education) and a minimum of 7 years progressive experience in the area of continuing education, including three years at the management level. Post-secondary institution experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
