Looking for full time caregiver to care for 1 child age 6. Caregiver is to assume full responsibility for the household in absence of the parents. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading, etc. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Prepare age appropriate meals and snacks. Tend to emotional well being of the children. Take to and from appointments, activities, park etc. Assist with homework.
Light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
Wage is $11.50/hr, 40 hours /week
Overtime rate at 1.5 times the regular pay for hours worked over 44 hours/week. Some flexibility is required with start and end times.
Completion of secondary school may be required and would be considered an asset.
Completion of training program in childcare or a related field may be required and would be considered an asset.
Childcare or household management experience may be required and would be considered an asset.
